Bio

Born and raised in Newcastle, Phoebe is a vibrant performer, a natural storyteller, and a sharp comedienne. Phoebe recently played the character of Stage Manager in the premiere season of the Understudies, which is headed for Sydney Fringe Festival later this year. She was also the literal stage manager.Recently, Phoebe studied Gaulier-Style Clown with Garry Starr, which turned her practice upside down. Her understanding of the vulnerability of comedy brings a distinctive charm to her acting. While comedy is her passion, she is does not shy away from tackling meaty dramatic roles. She recently portrayed Elizabeth in the Crucible and the Friar (an various small parts) in Much Ado About Nothing. Phoebe also enjoys singing and visual arts.
